RMIS – Registry Monitoring Insurance Services
RMIS (Registry Monitoring Insurance Services) is a well-known carrier onboarding and compliance management tool, widely used by freight brokers and 3PLs.
It helps streamline the onboarding process by automating document collection, verifying insurance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Brokers can customize onboarding workflows (set their own rules like Age of Authority, Inspection Count, Safety Score, Insurance Limits and other multiple) to match their business rules. This reduces manual effort to verify things and and minimizing risk of human error.
Also, by integrating seamlessly with TMS platforms, RMIS allows brokers to quickly onboard carriers while staying updated on real-time compliance status. Even they have capability to send notifications and updates inside TMS directly incase of something changes with carrier.
